All Submagic plans run on a monthly credit balance. Credits are what you spend when you upload a video and when you use AI features. Everything draws from one pool, so you decide how to use it.

What do credits get you?
Uploading a video costs 3 credits. AI Captions are free. Each additional AI feature costs between 1 and 3 credits, and Magic Clips cost 8 credits each.
So on the Pro plan, 120 credits covers around 40 video uploads with captions — or fewer videos if you use more AI features on each one. You are always in control of how you spend them.
