** Simple Clips Generator/Magic Clips guide**, Magic Clips is an AI-powered feature in Submagic that helps you turn **long-form videos** like podcasts, interviews, or webinars into **short, viral clips** automatically.

### **Step 1: Enable Magic Clips**
1. Go to your **Project Page - To Your Dashboard** on Submagic.
2. You’ll see three main options:
    * **Generate Captions** (for AI captions)
    * **Clip Videos** (for splicing multiple short videos into one long)
    * **Get Magic Clips** (turn long videos into short clips)If you don’t have access yet, click **Upgrade Plan** or go to **My Account → Add Magic Clips** to activate it. Magic Clips is an addon subscription.
          We will pick and use "**Get Magic Clips**" as an example.

### **Step 2: Start a New Project**
1. Click **Clips Generator/Magic Clips**.
2. Choose one of three options:
    * **Paste a YouTube URL** of a long video.
    * **Upload your own video file.**
    * **Upload via a Google Drive link. (make sure that the it is set to Public)**
> ⏱️ Depending on video length, AI processing can take **10–25 minutes**.

### **Step 3: Review Your AI-Generated Clips**
1. Once ready, you’ll see a list of **20+ automatically generated clips.**
2. Click any clip to **preview it** in the Clips Generator/Magic Clips dashboard.
3. Each clip shows:
    * A **preview video**
    * A **transcript**
    * A **“virality score”** showing how engaging the clip is likely to be.

### **Step 4: Trim & Edit Your Clip**
1. Select a clip to open the editor.
2. Use the **timeline** to trim unwanted parts.
3. Remove or adjust specific lines from the transcript if needed.
4. Fine-tune your video the way you want.

### **Step 5: Enhance Your Clip**
After trimming, you can:
* **Edit captions** (fix words, change colors, add emojis).
* **Generate a hook title** automatically.
* **Add B-rolls**, transitions, and effects.
* Use all the same customization tools available in Submagic.

### **Step 6: Export Your Final Video**
1. Once your clip looks perfect, click **Export**.
2. Choose your quality settings (e.g., 1080p or 4K).
