# Which Formats For Your Videos Work The Best With Submagic

Don’t worry! We support a wide range of formats, resolutions & aspect ratios 😎

However, if you are unable to upload (or export) your video, please make sure your video meets these criterias:

* The format of the video should either be in **“.mp4”** or **“.mov”** (we prefer .mp4)

*  The codec should either be in **HEVC** or **H.264** (we prefer H.264)

*  The supported resolution for uploading videos is up to **4K** (2160p). However, exported resolution varies depending on your plan ([learn more](https://care.submagic.co/en/article/what-will-be-the-export-quality-1842tsb/))

* Make sure your videos don’t have decimal frame rates (like 29.97 or 59.94). We recommend whole numbers like **30** or **60 FPS**
