Which Formats For Your Videos Work The Best With Submagic

Don’t worry! We support a wide range of formats, resolutions & aspect ratios 😎

However, if you are unable to upload (or export) your video, please make sure your video meets these criterias:

• The format of the video should either be in “.mp4” or “.mov” (we prefer .mp4)

• The codec should either be in HEVC or H.264 (we prefer H.264)

• The supported resolution for uploading videos is up to 4K (2160p). However, exported resolution varies depending on your plan (learn more)

• Make sure your videos don’t have decimal frame rates (like 29.97 or 59.94). We recommend whole numbers like 30 or 60 FPS

• Make sure to record and upload your videos in SDR Rec 709 color space to avoid inaccurate colors on export (learn more)
